I began having psychic experiences at a very young age. And they freaked me out! Imagine going to a summer camp and waking up looking into the eyes of an elderly woman in a feathered hat. When you reach out your hand, he disappears. Yes, that happened to me!

I grew up in the American Midwest, which is fitting. My last name, “Mitte,” means “middle!”

As I already mentioned, early in my life I often had psychic experiences. I’d have premonitions about minor things, like if school would be canceled, and which boy my friends would get crushes on. I also remember that my mother had prophetic dreams, many of which were accurate. I was impressed by this, but it unsettled my mom.

Later, I was able to predict the future. That got frightening! Once I felt that a friend’s mother would have a health crisis. When I heard that she actually did, that was too much for me to handle. I had to grow into my role of helping people through my psychic ability, instead of running away from it. I’d discern why I had information, what steps I should take, and what my responsibilities were.

In my early 20s, I chose a delicate approach to handling my psychic abilities. I’d make suggestions to people in distress regarding which actions they could take now to avoid problems later. But I mostly kept my psychic gifts hidden and chose to focus on other things. I graduated from university with a B.A. in graphic design. I had a successful career in a graphic designer and marketing. Who knew I’d become a psychic?

Of course, life constantly prodded me in the direction my true calling. I finally couldn’t ignore it anymore. After 20 years in the corporate world, I finally chose to follow my heart and left my conventional full-time job. It was time for me to own my gift and to start doing psychic readings full-time.

I remember waiting near the phone the first day, worried beyond words that nobody would call. But with passion, dedication and purpose, things took off. I genuine believe that doors open in life when you follow your heart.

I drink coffee in the morning to start my days. I enjoy walking my dogs but I should exercise more. I also buy way too many kitchen appliances and books. My guilty pleasure is dark chocolate. I have weaknesses for veggie wraps, orange creamsicles, and any song by Bruce Springsteen. Though I’m still working to perfect my chess strategy, I’m nearly unbeatable at Scrabble.
